I'm thinking of a new board so I'm asking for opinions of testers or owners.
I'm considering one of these: F-one Acid HRD Carbon, Shinn Monk and Shinn Ultrasonic.
Tried to contact Shinn, but Mark wasn't very helpful with other material than that already at the website.
For example,
1. How do you compare the weight of the board considering the same size?
2. What's your opinion on each? (everything you can remember of)
3. Could you ride one or more and really compare them?
I can land very few tricks, downwind a lot and I'm crazy to go very high (oldschool?). I ride in an island in NE Brazil, so choppy sea. If relevant I'm leaving a kitesurf absence due a meniscus and ACL surgery, although I believe it won't be a problem once my muscles are regular again.

Did not ride the new Acid from Fone. All I can say is it is more freestyle then freeride so probably better to compare this one with the Ultrasonic.
The last two years I am riding on a Monk but I also had an Ultrasonic. The Ultrasonic have much more rocker, the board is much better to get a good pop at low speed. It is really nice for freestyle and unhook moves. Since I am not a freestyle guys at all I sold mine and I just kept the Monk. The Monk is smoother in the chop, much faster, jump higher in big wind too. It is a very nice freeride board that I simply love. For big air, oldschool, chop, furious speed run if you want, the Monk is the best choice at least in the Shinn lineup.

The first shinn board I bought was a supershinn and I totally fell in love with the board, the supershinn has been replaced by the ultrasonic which has even more pop but it is also a bit stiffer.
After my supershinn, I tried the monk forever : it is the best tt I have owned so far. I had nhp , caliber, traxx, raptor pro etc.. the monk is really an amazing all around board. You will never lose your edge no matter how choppy and fast you ride. No spLash in the face, good pop not as explosive as the ultrasonic but since you can gain alot of speed when you release you will go high ! The board has great acceleration, upwind is also good. The best feature for me is how smooth it is in really choppy water. Ultraxonic has really better pop for wakestyle and unhook etc.. more rocker so it tracks a little less upwind. Smooth in the chop but nothing like the monk. If you are into freestyle with boots go with the ultrasonic. Acid, never tried it. I sawthat you have issue with your knees, the monk isthe only tt i can ride for hours in the chop with no pain.

Thank you Jumarcil! It was really helpful on shinn.
I'm considering Acid HRD because of its weight. I'm really tired of heavy boards.
Mark Shinn would not tell me on Monk's weight.
So if anybody would add on F-one Acid board, I'd be happy!
