Hmm - school sure has changed...
I'll be original and call it The 'n' handle for my Noob boardoffs
The Rail Grip can be bought from Clark Rubber in Oz... and cut and sanded to suit etc
I'm afraid to say Dave that you not entirely correct. Do aluminium and stainless steel have passive oxide layers? Yes they do. Does that mean they will not corrode when placed together? Not exactly.davesails7 wrote:Aluminum and stainless steel isn't too bad. They both form inert layers on the surface (which is why they don't corrode in general). So even though they have galvanic potential, they mostly insulate themselves.plummet wrote:Aluminium to stainless in a salt water environment is a very very very bad idea.
Here is my 3D printed handle. How long will it last, I don't know.Toby wrote: No one needs to buy it, you can do it yourself.
Mind throwing that model up on Thingiverse if you haven't already?joriws wrote:Here is my 3D printed handle. How long will it last, I don't know.Toby wrote: No one needs to buy it, you can do it yourself.
