Hey Bro's,
Remember when you got that new kite and it was folded so neatly and in such a small size.
How the hell do I refold the kite like that nice new flatpack.
Really what I'm asking for is kite folding/packing techniques for traveling.

Where ya going my kiwi brother...??
All I can offer is, fold in defined rectangles rather than roll, but you pack ya kites like that anyway!

I tried like this video and not even close on my SB 14. Some kites pack down easier. My Edge and foils pack small. I have some compression bags but haven't used yet.
Do most people travel with 3 kites or 2? Nobile Split board helps too.

I don't trust the sharp folds you'll get with those vaccuum bags, alongside the onepumps getting squashed...
But nice idea with that vest.

I always roll the kite up normally once or twice to make sure 99.9% of the air is out of the bladders, then undo it all and start to fold it in segments, trying to make sure the struts are at the edges of each fold. Just doing that you can pack it down pretty tiny. Add vacuum bags to the mix and you can bring your kites in envelopes in your briefcase

first use your pumps deflate socket to completely deflate the bladders, don't hurry, it takes time to suck all the air out of them, little massage on them will help. then fold or roll the kite as you wish

dude, that vest is dangerous as heck. the guards will shoot you down before you even open your mouth.
that reminds me a friend bringing a complete Perfect Pass kit from Us to Europe, he spent hours explaining that it was not bomb.
