I liked flying them but as an inexperienced kiter I did much better once I switched to Rebels. I didn't realize that the 12m Thruster is really a 10m kite and they don't have any grunt at lower wind speeds.

Does anybody know where Chris Cousins is.
That bastard took $6,800 pf my hard earned money and never delivered my kites.
No one should do business with him as he has proved that he will steal from you.
I carry cash around is case I ever run into him so I can get bailed out.

I heard that he took off for Spain got married and open a restaurant.
The same guy never paid me for 7 months.
Any way if you guys think the THRUSTER kite is a big boosting machine you are for a big surprise with the SCREAMER model since it is the version 9 of the "THRUSTER" model.

I still sport a thruster 12 as my "10". I'd do a screamer in a heart beat if you could match what I can get an rrd obession for...No disrespect...just have a good connection on rrd.

Best big kite I ever had was a 2008 Thruster 14. One pump strut attachments got all cracked and leaked. It died of wesr and tear. I used it like 80% of my sessions. great kite. wish I still had it.
I had a 12 and 10 too. The 10 was a jellyfish nightmare. 12 was ok, a bit too fast and squirrely in high end.
Moved over to Core XR now after having a quiver of Switch gen 1 kites. ( which were ok, but not perfect)
Have an 2010 Rrd obsession 9m that is brilliant kite, it may die soon to wear and tear. Fixed a bladder this season that had an abrasion hole.

I cannot say enough positive things about how good the 10m Ltd is! It is my go to kite and has amazing low end grunt, quick turning speed and just beautiful handling! Hands down the best kite I have ever bought and will be in my quiver for a long time. Owned Eclipse kites and the Epic kites are a far more refined wing. It would be interesting to hear what this guy thinks about the two. The kites are definitely sized appropriately as a 12 is a 12 (can be frustrating when trying to build a smaller quiver without demoing)!
