The question is how many people really go out and hit the lip in double over head surf?
I only know a hand full of pros that will go for the cake when its 15-18ft.
8-10 ft still no problem for the VG.

haha so right. I really think it depends on where. Having been out at BackY it was way the hell too fast for me at 2xwaves...east side...at even way bigger not a problem as long as you don't get dumped on the inside reef.

In general shallow spots at 2x is generally gnarly if it can hold it...deeper not a huge issue...which should really make the VG hold good size

I love the fact the VG shapes are getting traction..means that people dont have to turn a whole boat to turn..yet have some float for the lower speed sections.

Wind conditions 13-14 knots side shore.

Here you will see in the footage that the VG can excel in waves over 5ft.
It takes you thru sections with out having to use the power of the kite so much.
Notice the amount of distance the is covered with the kite just Drifting.
Hitting the lip with board momentum - Hardly any kite use just a stability and drift coming into play.
There are no hook ups on big white water climbs.
This board truly thrives in variety of conditions.

Taking to the air the boards Swing weight is amazing as the nose and tail are balanced in area allowing the wind grab evenly.

I ordered the 5'6" kitesurf version, i plan on surfing and kitesurfing with it.

Is there any more recent videos of Felix surfing it or any board for that matter? Wish i could rip the top off a wave that hard.
