congratulations!
That is a great invention, I wish you all the best for your effort and creativity. You deserve an excellent return of investment.
ps: if you want to test some prototypes, I may suggest to do not print but to CNC mill from a solid block of plastic. In such way you will have a more realistic test. Moreover you can use thermoplastic engineering polymers such as POM...

Great stuff!
The thing about the bolt, I do not see a phillips option for screwdriver?
What I see is a rugged surface which will attract salt, me thinks. Once a salt does a job will be difficult to tighten or taken off.
Any ideas about the uv protection for fluorescent colors?
Cheers, D.

With Stringy on board and his previous projects and inventions we feel this could be fun. The custom threaded bolts are stainless steel. The head needs to be the same size as the shaft so it will fit through the existing hole in your board. If we find this as a standard offered piece we will use it. The bright colors were for the initial push, black plastic is a hard sell.
Thank you for the encouragement, support and feedback. If you check out our social media sites

You will see the demand and interest is there not only with kiters but also wake and cable guys too.

Quikfin will have 5 sets in Hatteras for Pro Rider testing during the Triple S event. Will the riders use them during the waves / freestyle comp ? We have heard very positive feedback. We are open to negotiating licensing agreements with kiteboard / wakeboard companies. We will not be selling these out of van at the beach. We all have full time jobs.
Thank you ! Have a great weekend.
Sincerely,
Jon Schlecht

We currently have 15 sets of Quikfin on many top level pro riders boards. We had a couple of failures on the first edition. The updated version is sleeker and allows the Quikfin base to be installed on boards with channels. We have a USA patent pending. Our goal is very reasonable. We offer a very attractive licensing agreement to kite & wakeboard companies.
Quikfin works with your board and your fins , if for some reason your on Necker Island and you loose your Quikfin base and pins , you can still use your fins with the standard supplied OEM screws.

I think Nobile also has a patent on it?
Is it different? No problems?

Quikfin works with your board and your fins. Not proprietary.
USA patent pending , we will see what the White House has to say ?
Quikfin is quite different than the screw in lever clamp.

@darippah
Quikfin is not on the market yet for consumer sales. Our intentions are to license the product to board companies.
Product testing has going very well. Pro riders approve , less screwing more riding.
