Naish monarch

Can anyone give me an opinion on the naish monarch?

Is it ok for bindings?

Also any suggestions for a bindings/straps board?

I like the board. lots of control even at high power.
I don't think this board is made for bindings..to be honest I have bindings but the straps are so comfy I've never felt the need to put them on.

I think the dub is made for that...but I have not tried might be fine...someone else probably knows the stuff with bindings better than me.

I have 134.To be honest I intend to get bindings and I`m looking for a good deal at the local shop.
As a matter of fact today I`ve discussed that with the owner - so hopefully soon...
So I can give some feedback w/ straps.
This is maybe my first board I don`t change after owning it one year.
Stiffer and w/ lots of rocker compared to the boards I had before, It pops massive but most of all very predictive.
On the other hand is very veeerrrry smooth. Feels great even in heavy chop.Once I have already described the feeling - it is like I`m riding on white water.
It grips like hell when loaded which is I guess due to the channels.

Probably the cons are:
Little bit heavier.
Prone to scratch /I don`t care/

Think I might go for a more rocketed board wich is designed for boots, I was looking at the shinn ADHD

I am 75-77 kg. I had my friend's new 2015 132 for a test yesterday /and his new Fly - just in case/ but as you may guess, absolutely no wind for it.
Well there are many variables but at your weight I'd definitely go for 134.
Especially with the lighter, thinner tips and litlle bit more flex in this regard...

I've bin riding the Monarc the last year with bindings, and love it! Works fine with bindings. And have ordered one more for the next season.
Great pop, the chanels helps to lock the board to the water and makes it go upwind well even with it's amount of rocker. Great really great pop, and soft landings. But also very light and still playfull. I love the feel of the board, and will not look at any other, think it's perfect!

What Bindings are you using with your monarch?

I use the Ronix Frank on the Monarc og

I have Ronix One. Mine are a bit too tight.

I just got the new monarch, and I am quite sure it'll be great for boots. Its stiffer, and I feel more in control. Still have the velvety feel to it...
