Hi,
have anyone been to Sardinia for kiting ?
I want to go there between July and August.
Can anyone let know where to stay and what are the condition for kite boarding there ?
Cheers,
czezz
I really love kitesurfing in La Cinta, but as you said it works only with NE winds which in summertime do not blow as often as NW-W-SW winds (the same for La Caletta-Siniscola). That is why many people advise to go to Porto Pollo (frequent wind but gusty), or to the SouthWest: Porto Botte (best wind, but not the best beach around), Porto Pino (amazing beach, but you can kite only from september to May), Punta Trettu (very beatiful and perfect for beginners), Chia (amazing beach but there are waves), the so-called Petrol beach near Cagliari (not a beatiful beach, but it's the only spot that works with local thermal winds - i.e. when no general circulation winds are blowing).Toby wrote:yes, awesome spots in the Southwest!
Most beautiful spot is La Cinta (San Teodoro) though, NE, beautiful ride!
