Golden Beach on Paros.
Windy every day. Home of World Cup Windsurfing, and where they were going to hold the Kite Board Pro Tour.

2,000 Greek islands. There must be something else other than Paros.
Paros can get very windy but it's always a treat. Crete, Rhodes, Limnos are also good.
Looking for serious winds? Try Karpathos.
It's a long list. Let us know where you ended up.
Cheers.

I heard good things about Catalonia.
But don't ask me where exactly it is.

You probably mean Cephalonia? (Captain Corelli's Madolin)... Ionian Sea, next to Corfu, Ithaka etc... It surely has some of the most impressive beaches, I am not sure about wind conditions.

Hi Vangelis,
yep, I guess it is called like this.
I met a guy who just started kitesurfing in Mallorca who is living there.
They have thermic winds and windy season is I guess from Sept-April.
Cheers Toby

I would not recommend Karpathos for kitesurfing. The winds are off shore and gusty, and often 'nuclear' strength.
Some German pros went to Kos a few weeks back.

Hi
I have been kiting for a month in Rhodes this summer. Mainly in Prassonisi.
Long sandy beach, no stones, on-shore wind, in best days 2,5 meter vawes with 40 meter flat water between. Wind is mainly between 15 and 30 knots.
In july there is too many surfers from G--ny floating around and you have watch the swimmers.
How is it in Paros ?

Excellent place on Corfu is southwest tip.
A beach called Agios Georgios, huge sand north wind prevalent.
lots of room for beginners too...
no kite school though.
