A gust of 129 kmh is crazy.
He flew over a building of 5 floor, 300m far.
Sounds like he has a head injury and some broken bones.
Wishing a speedy recovery!

Woahaaa the guy had a whole bunch of guardian angels flying in parade formation before him. Hope he's getting well soon.
I've been out on sunday a bit more south, rigged, launched, and put the kite down straight away. It was just batshit crazy gusty crap. Packed down and called it a "not for me".

Do you have any weather statistics for that day? And what size kite was he using?
Damn smooth landing, as for 300m jump he didnt even drag on roof.
Hope he recovers from this.

Alamos I'm with you. The last time I decided to go out in extreme gusty conditions I nearly paid a hefty price. I decided to adopt the same mindset you reference above. It's tough to exercise sound judgement when the wind is nuking but better to be safe and kite another day.
