Ply TT visibility question

Postby mx5alan » Sat Jan 03, 2004 10:50 pm

In the middle of building a Ply TT.

My Question is.... 2 paint or not 2 paint before the final coats of varnish ?

If painting - what are the best colours so that the board is still visible when you wipe-out in the sea/water and you are body-dragging to retrieve it. ?

do the final layer with epoxy. it will make your board resist better to rocks etc.
use expoxi colorant, just deduct it from the amount of hardener.
almost all colors are available.
