I know that there were several threads regarding this topic, but I'm quite pissed off about how wet my kites get when they fall.
As a matter of fact, I almost forgot what is a wet kite until I started Hfoiling several months ago.
Two issues:
1- Hfoiling under 10 knots increases the odds of a wet kite.
2- When a single strut kite falls , the inner canopy has a good chance to touch the water, it gets WET and then sticks to the water
Now try to relaunch....
OK, you managed to relaunch, but the kite is f%@#!g wet heavy so the odds are that in the next lull you're for the swim-in allover.
I thought that the manufacturers already took care of this issue.
So again, after kiting for fifteen years, I'm thinking about a spray to keep the kite dry when it falls.
Anyone tried and is satisfied with a good water repellent spray?
