Absolutely! I used it for years almost exclusively. From flat to over head high.
Are you from Denmark? If you want to talk you can send me a pm.

Are you planning on riding strapped? That's really the only reason to consider those boards over the much lighter FW Tomo's.

i am (83 kg) using 5.4 Converter ( Angry Swallow with foil mast attachment point ) in strictly onshore conditions. Mushy, chest to overhead waves.
This board definitely rocks and excels! Good speed and lots of control, smooth carving. Love it so much!

FW is FireWire, the company that builds boards from different shapers
Tomo is Daniel Thompson, one of the shapers who makes MPH boards; Modern Planing Hulls such as Evo, Vader, etc.

still can't get over the name "Angry Swallow" - is that when you have to load the dishwasher for a week afterwards to appease the wife?

The name is perfect - I see a big resemblance between this very angry bird (a swallow) and a slashy surf board

If you plan on strapless the VG is really the only board to consider for your situation and weight. Grab a 5'2" and be happy.

Thanks. It's just that the VG is not available around here. But from the pictures, it looks like the skater, that I Can get for a good Price.
