There are over 5000 bars on the market for now almost 9 months and still not one, yes not one single customer I am aware of that had his bar stuck with sand or salt. Can we move on from this argument now? It is getting seriously old.. Plus no one ever mentions the two rubber plugs which the Click bar has on either sides for cleaning.. Should you get some sand in there, it is as easy as opening a plug with your finger and shaking your bar under the water..
How would you even know Jarome? I have been on your website several times and you do everything possible to not deal with customers directly. You funnel every concern to your distribution network. So how do you really know what your 5000 customers are thinking. I have been on the beach and talked to one of your customers. He complained about how the maintenance was a pain in the ass with your click bar. Next time I see him I will tell him to email you directly.
Alright. Alright.
Any designer is entitled to be proud of their design - even defend it emotionally.
This thread is not the thread to attack someone simply for being proud of their work.
Please stay the OPs intent.
Appreciated feedback from both Randy and Jerome. Thanks both for sharing.
Good thread! Let's keep it positive. We don't get kite technology innovations often enough and when you get 2 or more companies doing something similar, it's great! It validates the concept and also keeps them both on their toes. If it's a one-off concept, it usually only lasts a couple years.
