No... generally it feels "gruntier" - more instant power & if anything requires less speed over the foil to generate power.RDM wrote: ↑Wed May 17, 2017 8:10 pmTheRussian wrote: ↑Wed May 17, 2017 7:17 pmPower on the beach means nothing, as these kites dont develop power without speed - this is power in a proper powerstroke that would tow you down the beach on your face!
Great, so would you say the V9 develops a bigger power spike in comparison to V7 & V8 when you dive it..... ?
Thanx for that .....TheRussian wrote: ↑Thu May 18, 2017 9:14 amNo... generally it feels "gruntier" - more instant power & if anything requires less speed over the foil to generate power.
62kg aside what is your riding ability and style. The reason I ask is that many riders on this thread Tone, The Russian, Gunnar, me etc., like to ride their Edges super powered as its all about jumping big.martino86 wrote: ↑Sun May 28, 2017 9:21 amHey guys
I'm looking for a Kite which can replace both my Enduro 9 and 12 and I'm thinking about a 10m Edge. I'm keeping the Enduros but I want to be able to ride at the same time as my gurlfriend. I'm 62kg, how would you rate my lowend with 10m Edge and a lightwind twintip (I have 2 Twintips)? Can it match the Lowend of my 12? Also considering to learn to Foil on the 10. Is the Edge the way to go?
