Small rear wing

Postby rightguard » Mon Jun 12, 2017 7:42 pm

I have a gofoil and it comes with two wing sets, free ride and race. I have been using the free ride set but yesterday I put on the race rear wing. I was surprised at how nicely it carved.

Made me think it would be fun to try bigger front wings with smaller back wings. Anyone try

i have got both a small and a medium rear wing for my Ketos.

Sometimes used the small rear wing with the freeride and light wind front wing (usually used with my small fast wave wing and jump race wing), and it was really good as they both got more lively and more fun

Turns faster and more lively as said - and still they ride just as early and good upwind.

But also more difficult to tack and carve of course, not fully as "easy" anymore...

Just my experiences - they can make a huge difference, both good and bad

I also have 2 rear wings, size its similar, but one its flat and the other have winglets. Very big different on roll resistance, the flat one makes much tighter turns and the winglets one its alot more stable but doesnt turn so well. I also feel that the one with winglets makes the foil a little slower and adds abit more lift.
