Salomon 1080's have been great...they are short, shaped but without a huge amount of sidecut and they have lots of float for the powder.

Have you already been riding on one or the other?

Guys,

I've tried a ton of different skis and here's my opinion. Shaped skis are great for ice. Twin tips are awesome for snow and in particular the new K2 Public Enemy. This ski is wide, short and has tons of power and very very cool graphics. It's the new new school type ski with rivets in the tips and tails and much more flip in the tail than the 1080's. 1080's are good, but these are amazing and at a much better price.

Have a try. Great skis.

This is a biased opinion, since I'm a K2 pro rep, but I have never been on any twin tips as cool and great skiing as these.

If you're in the Midwest and want to try them, give me a shout, or come visit Kites On Ice in Madison, WI on Feb 7th and 8th on Lake Mendota. I'll have the skis there along with tons of kites.

This is one of the biggest kite festivals in the country so we'll be giving free training all weekend.

Come and ride...Come and play.

If we get more snow, we'll be building some hips. jumps, etc.

toyletbowl,

I got my kids each a pair of Mini Public Enemies size 126 this last Christmas. hehe. They are the smallest in the line. From what I can tell, they are awesome!!...The only bad part is since I have two boys and a wife to buy skis & boards & kites for, Santa didn't bring Dad any Public Enemies...Maybe next year!

Nice pic of the kids Jason,

Can't wait to see them shredding at the Kitefreeze! It's rad to see young Groms getting into Snowkiting.

Thanks Brian. Yea, the kids gotta play too. I couldn't even have imagined something as cool as KiteBoarding at 7 years old.

Now it is official...it does actually snow in Minnesota. It did not just quit snowing here forever. WE FINALLY GOT THE GOODS! We's happy  can ya tell?

Now we gotta get those kids ready for the KiteFreeze.

toyletbowl, Those skis are actually 124cm, but you probably knew that already.
