Florianopolis in October/November?

Hello,

maybe i am planning to go to Florianopolis in October/November.
1 How is the wind during this period?
I read i can kite like 1/2 day

2 It is possible to find spot right on the spot? Or let my kite equipment in kite club?

I found some hostel at Lagoa da Conceição is that the best place to stay for kite?
( i don't drive)

November is windiest month there. It is a great place. Mostly will be empty. The real tourist season is Jan-Feb.
Lots of location. There is even a lake in the middle of the island. They have a small kite school there.

When you say is empty, you mean not many tourist,
but Florianopolis is like Rio? a big city with local people and i guess i can party on week-end?
i was planning to stay around Lagoa da Conceição.
