Watching news about the hurricane Irma...sounds serious.
Hopefully you guys in the area stay save!
And don't get too excited that wind is coming...this is real serious stuff. We had many accidents before because people disrespected Mother Nature.
Fingers crossed.

Seems like the Dominican Republic north shore, Haiti & Puerto Rico will be hit hard. Undoubtedly there will be serious flash flooding in the mountains. Hope all will be safe in Cabarete.

Yes, a powerful storm. It's still too early to predict its impact on FL (people in FL are in a premature frenzy....the Hurricane Harvey and media effect, IMO). But the Turks & Caicos, DR, Puerto Rico are definitely in the line of fire. Prayers for those good people.

Feeling very sad about Anegada in the BVI. I was there in the BVI for work in May last year and popped over for a few days to work (and kite) there. Beautiful spot. Problem is the highest point on the island is 28 feet above sea level. They had an evacuation but apparently some people stayed behind. I read that the sustained winds will have been 175mph with gusts to 220 mph. Fingers crossed. Such a shame to think of all the destruction that will have ensued

Barbuda 90% destroyed...that's unbelievable.
Now heading towards Miami...sounds like a direct hit...
They say 10-13 m high waves...Miami Beach will be flooded!
