How much would you be willing to pay for an aftermarket wing that has good reviews?
Eg a low aspect, high surface or a race wing that would compliment your set up?

$200-300 maybe. Basically a little less than the brand's offering.
Unless it was some super performance improvement.
Most seem to want light wind or wave options.
Have to be convinced it wasn't junk though.
Sell me a takuma copy wing that works with my zeeko fuse and stab for $300. Like to try that.
If you can make it super light and still strong, maybe $400. That could be better than the original!
Videos and full specs would go a ways toward making an impression: surfacearea, weight, build materials etc.

300$ the prices right now is almost cheaper to buy the entire foil setup then a set of wings. Even at 300 they should be like 150 for both front and rear. I've been trying to find wingsets everywhere as would love to try different ones. Was told the foil fish was not compatible with any newer style wings even tho the original marketing was especially targeted as expandable to different wings. If some shops had em in stock I'd bring in my fuse and see if updated wings are compatible. Every place was we have to order em.
Tried a carbon setup and fell in love with everything other then the 2000$ price tag agrrhh
I'm now about to pull the trigger on the chinese setups as they are full carbon that even with shipping is cheaper then buying a wingset. I will say the prices are coming down but not quick enough.

$500 or less and I would buy it. It would have to be very special to cost more than that. I'd much rather buy wings than whole new sets. I have already bought an extra wing and stabilizer from Ketos, and I would have no qualms about spending the same money with a 3rd party vendor. A different wing for my Takuma would be nice.

To what are you mounting the ketos wings?
Their products look great but mast and fuse seem very expensive to me...

I have the ketos Fr2 whole foil. It is expensive but I liked the fact that they make lots of wings I can buy that all fit.

Ive seen gong has a set of wings with decent pricetag
Large medium and small setups on g10
Compatability is something to be seen in hydrofoils.

I reckon that a compatible after-market wing to expand the capabilities of a given performance/high end foil would be worth a bit. Mostly where a person has spent significantly on an expensive foil and wants to get more from it in the form of wave riding for example. I think pricing in the 300 dollar range would be acceptable to change my all carbon performance foil into a slower more maneuverable wave foil if it was a proven design with good reviews.

Agree. Zeeko is good with their 290 euros carver. Good wing, g10, good price.
On the other hand, Slingshot knows their marketing, but $550 is a bit much for the kind of thing they are selling. Especially when you see less than 6-month-old complete used hoverglide foils for sale for less than a new wing!
Or compare to a ketos carbon wing for similar price.

Now if someone would make an adapter plate for bottom mounted wings to common bottom mount fuselages...with a shim set, yeah.
