Yea there's a couple of ways to add pressure. I used an electrical tape roll, just the right diameter and stacked some weight on top.
Tip. If the valve has to be oriented in a certain direction, as in, if it is attached to the fabric flap as on the Best kites, before you peel it off, mark on the bladder the direction it sits in. If you're off by 10* or more, it's kinda goofy. I have reglued both valves on the LE and one strut. Holding well for three years. Good to have a spare tube of the stuff in your kit.

I make it out to the park, or Jean dry-lake about once a month , with
my land-buggy ; but it's bin 3 years since i bin in the water .
I did an edit-job to my last post , where i had offered Ya to use my 15M
Ozone C4 ; but i had a look at the lines, and they looked older than me !
I turn 65 on Halloween ; where did the fricken time go ?

YEP !!
Bin flying a lot, but like the land-buggy, it doesn't really do much for the lower
body . I kinda miss all the exercise i use to get while kiteboarding .
Just checked the 3-day for 6-mile, and the North winds
are back early this year , (near 25 every day, last week) ; so maybe time to dust off
the wetsuit , and get my ass back in the water, (my body would like it a Bunch).

I'm good Chemo...
Thanks for asking...
I've a tale of murder most foul though...very close to home.
Not proper fare for this venue, so it's still about my nipples..
Cheers
