Neo 2016 and SST 2016

Postby ciscokitesurfer » Sun Sep 24, 2017 8:56 am

Today I was out in gusty condition on both kites. I am big fun of NEO kites but today I noticed the depower of the SST is way better than NEO. I had to punch out the NEO were I would not have to on the SST due to a big jump of the wind speed. Sharing information for kite surfer who wants information. I think I am not buying any more NEO kites. I have been rinding NEO for 3 years and SST one year. I have a full quiver of both kites.

have u seen the video where logosz says that you have to sheet in on the sst to go optimally upwind? do you still find the Neo goes upwind better?

no, I have not. Yesterday I was using my NEO on average wind conditions but the upwind and the looping of the kite is way better than the SST wave kites. I like the SST kite but if you are on a wave and you need to redirect the kite the SST pull too much. I am going to sell my SST quiver, very sad because everything else is amazing. I only kite on wave so If i can't redirect without been junk of the board then I am divorcing her. I am going to make a video of both kites when I looping them. cheers

My apologies for going a little of topic...
Is the 2017 RPM any good for wave riding?
Thx!
