Just wondering, why no more Mono 15m?

Postby Puetz » Thu Oct 05, 2017 5:39 am

G'day guys,

I noticed on the North website that the 15m Mono has been dropped so the biggest size is the 12m,,,, is it a mistake or true?

Cheers,

Robbie :D

Probably dropped because it did not really have its place.

A lot of people said it was too powerful once you got going if foiling.
Too big to surf.
NKB already has a 15m lightwind kite for twintips and freeride directionals.

Maybe it was too heavy ;)

I have noticed on those Maui cloud you really don't need a big size to get going. the 9m Maui cloud had same range as my fone bandit 14m, thanks to the speed of the 9m. I could barely get going in both case.
