I Strongly agree with Bars for ALL kites and jacking around with Lines on/Lines off. Repeat...

Hey Pull, have you considered buying a good 19M kite???

I love the 2m between each kite setup. (5-6old) 8-10-12-14-16 is my main quiver.
I have been there too in 2002...I never knew which kite to take! :P
Thought you only used 18 and 16 no matter the wind Toby? ;)

haha yes and filling up the car to the spot is a problem, buying a bigger car now hahaha
Actually my total quiver is 5x5, 5,5, 2x6, 3x8, 9, 10, 2x11, 3x12, 13, 14, 15, 16 (think I got all), But I only count the one I use - 2018... And one meter between too much overlap, and I end up not using some at all... bigger gap like 7-9-12-17 tried but didn't like it as good.
Wife is not allowed in the kite room

Seriously? 22 kites!

So is that considered a quiver or a collection? You only get to count the ones that hold air and are ready to fly.

I definitely understand the need for redundancy. You need enough stuff that breaking something is a pause, not a stop. There is a perfect amount of reverence for a kite. You should love em, but not so much that you hesitate to lend em to a trusted friend. Otherwise sell it. You sir would make the very best of kite buddies!

Currently have 8 kites. Used all but one in the couple years. Used to be a minimalist, but that went off the rails when my board quiver started to diversify. Eventually it devolved from three kites into three quivers, well maybe four. Wave, twin tip, foil and snow. Some nice overlap in there! Would pull that last one out in a heartbeat on the right day so they are all definitely still on tap.

6, 6.25, 7, 8.5, 9, 2x11, 12

+ Five boards, yet perennially down to one pump!

Ok then -2 need a fix. And one is ridden to much so will probably break. Thing is some are not worth to sell after a while, as you dont get anything for them (2009 5m), but still hard to trow away. Used them for courses back in the days. But I really do need to sell the rest of my 2017 kites. Just low season came too early so haven´t got around to it...

Oh wait, I should list all mine too:

5x Rebel 18

If you want get picky, double of the exact same kite don't count. I personally wouldn't even count different years of the same model if the size is the same and they are not all that different.

Quiver kind of denotes to me different kites with different strengths to cover different conditions.

5 of the same kite in the same size is still a one kite quiver.
