Be prepared to have valves air leaks soon...
I just heard about this problem they are having. How come that this problem still these days exists.
2002 (?) with Cabrinha it can happen...but 2017 ?
I agree with you Toby, it is not serious. At 2015 they had several manufacture defects, valves pealing off, rubbers rings around valves gestting cracked and delaminating boards.. and as you can imagine they customer support was also not the “best”. In my case they sent me a bladders kit and ask me to remplace it on my own, they did not asume the replacement cost by a professional... I guess that was of the reasons they fell in bankrupt...

I have owned dozens of Best kites and I still have 6 of them (2008, 2013, 2015, 2016, 2-2017) I never had a issue with valves. I heard it did happen on a bad batch of 2015s but it's not a bad design of the valve it was a defective batch. I had issue with the stopper on the 2015 bar and they promptly send me new ones. This year I bought 2 new Rocas because the price was great and the kite is amazing. The 2017 valve is completely different so I doubt it will suffer the from same problems.

well, that's bad news.
Why isn't there any glue that doesn't delaminate?

After 184 posts in this thread I'm still not sure if Best are bankrupt or not ... or have I missed something?

Problem is when kites are left in car and temperature reaches 140 deg F, the glue lets go. Not just a Cab problem though.

Agreed. It's a pity to be speculating as it will certainly hurt the company of they are not.

Thats not my case, i never do that and it delaminated after 3 uses, my other kite much older without problems so far. I guess your statement does not apply to delaminated boards, which also happened, and chicken loop Quick release plástic cracks.... What i was told by a distributor was that best material used to be manufactured by north kiteboarding, at 2015 they agreed with cabrinha to manufacture their material, and for “some reason” cabrinha Didnt have any quality issue and best lots of them...
But if what ozonelevel says becomes a spread problem to cabrinha kites, all starts to Make sense...
