Unfortunately, quite a bit of content on this subject was lost during the crash. Pending updating new information on kitebeaches, I will toss out some general comments here.

For folks visiting Orlando, most agree that the inland lakes are not particularly riding at given uneven inland winds. Cocoa Beach is about 1 hour by car to the east along Beeline Hwy. and Tampa/St. Pete are about 2 1/2 hours to the west.

It is just sitting there ready to be used by Florida kiteboarders. You can talk about things that are important to local riders, meets, conditions, epic sessions ... lots of possibilities. Why not pass the word to other locals and get them onboard?

I noticed that SW Florida is predicted to have some wind this weekend. I was even thinking about a first roadtrip to Tigertail. Thanks for your precautions.

Would you print and complete list of suggested guidlines for riding at the Park? I would be happy to write them on your behalf based upon your input if you would like. They could be posted here, on the FKA forum of this site, perhaps added to the kitebeaches.com writeup and also included on the FKSA.org site to really try to get the word out there.
