Lost control of the kite unhooked yesterday and landed on my back on the sand, went to doctor today and he said that is possible to kite with a broken rib the only problem is the pain, but kiting will not turn the things worst and will not afect the cure.
Anyone have tried to kite with a broken rib or something like that? to much pain?

Broke 3 ribs windsurfing years ago - got back out a week later
but it hurt like hell - had to wait a few more weeks till I could sail
pain free. Switched to a seat harness to take the pressure off the ribs
and wore an impact vest.

Sure you can... but is it smart... 1 wrong fail and you could preforate your lung.. and you will be out of the running for a very longtime!
GOOD LUCK

So extreemo,
Mr. unhooked, wild child, on yo back? on the beach?
I've got this notion of the sound, kind of hollow thud,
kinda UGH!
Does that feel pretty rad? i mean being unhooked and all?
Our local (rock star) safety violator mo-fo smashed up his rack o ribs two days ago and is now grounded, he was whining like a bitch till I pointed out he had it comming,,,,
Extreemos find no quarter with me
fucking extreemos I love watching them go SPLAT
regards, get better soon if you catch my drift

Well, im no safety violator. I always use leash (yes the one that doesnt deepower my kite). Going unhooked its safer then hooked in, you should know that. Beginners learn unhooked first.
Maybe i was too close to shore, i just didnt expected to go so high, but no one on the beach, only some friends training some tricks like me.
Whats the bad in it, Mr Fo?
