ido, hop on an AA plane to caracas where I'll pick you up to go to los roques one of the best spots in the caribbean, clear warm flat water and waves super smooth trade winds incredible snorkeling, very relaxed.

Yes, both spots are good. I live in one and was on a holiday in El Yaque (Venezuela) almost 2 years ago. Main difference is that you don't really have a nightlife in El Yaque (we were there when it was pretty busy, but no nightlife, people went to sleep early) and the nightlife in Cabarete is great. In Venezuela we had a lot of wind (for me sometimes too much) and the same strength every day. Only it got pretty gusty and it was a bit difficult there. In Cabarete right now the wind is good, but not the same strength every day, so bring different sizes if you have. But it is very consistent.
Have fun
Chantal
