Wow... nice footage there!!!
...yeah the footstrap bit....
...nah it's all good
Hey if you have access to a vid called high, check the (I think Cali) wave section, looks very confused, but the guys were going twin tip stuff but some cool tricks onto and off waves. I wondered how unhooked and strapless would fare in those conditions?

Want to see some hot wave riding??
Check this vid: http://www.kiteforum.tv/component/optio ... Itemid,30/
Bertrand going OFF !!
Check the start where he takes off on the first wave. He is quite clearly using a Bow kite! Unhooked !!
I was at Lakey Peak a couple of years back and had the opportunity to watch Bertrand and Felix riding.
The general concensus was that Bertrand was shitting all over Felix !

a question (or two) to whomever feels like they want to answer the question (not try to stick it to whomever they have gripe with)...
so, the point when you approach the lip is to go as vertical as possible (waves / wind permitting)...then you send it back down or try to keep it in one position? I mean in general..wind direction permitting...as far as I've seen straight sideshore will permit a lot less kite movement, just slight weaving..in onshore you need a lot more sending the kite back and forth...
I've seen a little of both..some send the kite pretty aggressively, in both directions...when I try this I feel like it is hard getting the kite back fast enough...maybe my bottom turns aren't deep enough..maybe I am riding with too little power in the kite.
If I try to send the kite down, then higher (not over) for a top turn, and back down preempting the wave to get some extra power I feel it isn't giving me enough power to really dig in...this changes a little as the waves and forces get bigger.... I do tend to try to turn as hard as I can with the board and many times end up stalling the kite out.
A general process overview / tip would be greatly appreciated.
I ride strapped / unstrapped + SLE / C I am goofy, and ride backside and not very much switch on rights...my toeside riding switch sucks..and I can't really do any sort of nice bottom turn riding switch...but hardly any unhooked.
I try to go as small as I can on kite size, but being underpowered annoys the hell out of me.
ohh, and nice pics. It doesn't look like his moving the kite too much, but then again, I asked if the previous pic session was from moks...so I'll shut it so Reo is not screaming for I-scream again.
A.
