Review for Gaastra Jekyll 08 2008 10.0

Times tested: 2-5
Range: 11kn to 20kn

Good: - solid stable in the air
- massive handtime then jumping
- unhooked good too!!! good barpressure.
- 5th line option
- other safety options
- standart "by pass leash" safety option is really good
- amazing depower
- huge windrange because of "big" adjuster
- easy relaunch

Bad: - visually the bar is not that nice
- the spring in the quickrelease could be stronger for me
- really big logo ;-) next time smaller dudes :D

Review: This is a really nice kite with good flying behaviour and a solid rock proof quality. Gaastra seems to get back to the market.

ah, not weird, like weird, but weird...

i was like : hääää wtf, that can not be true.

the safety i got, was just some kind of o-shit leash to one of the powerlines on top of the adjuster.

so no back- frontrolls possible without unplugging your safety - how save!!!- and untangle everything!!!

that is wipika first 2 line kite style...

that what i mean with weird!

mhhh, i wonder every time again, how people are some kind of married with the company of their boght kite.

If you´re team rider: good job, go ahead

but we - the normal customers - should be more critical i think.

if a company tries to sell shit, we all know this real soon. but with gaastra i have the feeling everybody, in oarticular other brands are kickin their ass on every opportunity...

i got the max last year: great awesome kite, the jekyll this year sounds great all over.
So sorry, but me in personal: i´m happy then gaastra is back, they are a big company,... good quality no probs with warranty, and i´m sure they transfer some knowlegde from windsurfing over.

I dont care which logo is in my kite, as long as the price is reasonable, and i have fun: and man: i do have fun :thumb:

enjoy yourself...
