Have just received my 2009, 11 and 9 sport!
Have started to read a few reviews and I can,t wait to try them. For me its with some apprehension as I loved my 08 ozone kites. The bar pressure was a great feature as was the fast turning. I will not get rid of them till I try my new ones.

Like a kid at christmas have opened and looked at my new kite. No wind for the next few days on my local sites. Construction, as always faultless, its what you expect from a manufacture who started in the business building paragliding wings. So many kite makers are using cheap China rip of materials, this is not the case with Ozone who use the best and build in there own factory. Looking and examining these kites you realize they are built for durability.

The kites now come with adjustment available for more or less bar pressure.
In the bag a good additions is the removable velcroved bag that comes with goodies.
Far better than the old celophane bag with the repair kit, manual and key ring ect, the 09 kites also come with spare leader lines and spare amsteel thru the bar flag out....all spares.
What other kite manufacturer thinks of these things?
My friend flying his new Cabrina had to wait for 3 weeks for his flag out line that
wore after only approx 20 sessions. Yes, still soured after my Cabrian experience a few years ago.

Waiting for the wind!

I had a good solid 2 hours on the new edge 09, the build quality is second to none and what I liked was the bridle system had no pulleys , we also had the 08 edge and we were flying them back to back.The bar set up is definitely cleaner and much better than last years the wind was a solid 25knots.What we felt straight away was the heavier bar pressure compared to the 08 edge , we also thought the flying speed was not as quick not giving us the boost the 08 had and was famous for.The kite we felt turned slighty faster having a slighty lower aspect but we could be wrong.
I also liked the fact there was no fifth line we felt the 08 had better up wind ability sitting a little closer the edge of the window and the 09 was a little more forgiving given the 08 can punish you if your in the middle of a trick or big air and it all goes wrong.Hangtime was good on the 09 similar to the 08 if not slightly better.

To sum it up a really nice kite but I feel kites are getting that good these days there are only slight improvements which may suit some people and others may not like.I am looking forward to trying the ozone light made specifically for wave riding.Good job Ozone.
