I want to add 2 - 3 metre line extensions to my 20metre North 5th Element line set for my 7m Vegas. For the back lines, this will be really easy. My question relates to front 2 lines and the 5th line. Should I lengthen these lines at their end? This would mean that the 'V' split will move farther away from the kite. OR, should I lengthen the front lines below the 'V' split? Not quite sure how to do this second option. Thanks in advance.
Also, I have Q-PowerLine to do this. What is the recommended knot to use?

best is to lengthen below the split. this is what you get with Norths 2.5m extensions. does work if lengthen above but on high power moves such as kiteloops you get some distortion. for best effect lengthen below, remember the 5th needs to be below as well. up to you what knot, id prob go for making a loop with a figure 8 or something

Thanks for the advice Leepasty.
I've got the set-up all figured out, but I've had to legthen the "grey strong line" that is responsible for the two inside lines with a piece of Q-line. Not sure it'll be able to handle the same load. Any thoughts aboutt the strength of Q-line? Thanks.
