My question is... this hole in the middle (red circled) does not seem to be fully drilled, I can barely appreciate half a centimeter deep and all black compared to the other standard holes (who seem to go far depper). Do you know if it is usable directly, screwing it directly or not? The hole is also outside from the pad.... any trouble with that?

You mean the longer screw for the fin hole right?
And normal strap screw for the other hole. That can be screwed directly, although the hole seems to end 0.5cm deep.

Hi all, sorry for the confusion. Actually is a little bit of shame to myself

The hole is perfectly drilled. There was some kind of dirt from the drilling, and covered the hole show from direct view seemed to be not fully drilled. Anyway, the screw enters perfectly. In the other hole you can use the same screw that comes standard with the plug, although is a bit short, but works.

By the way, now I have tested the board both ways: 2 rear straps and 1 single rear strap. It feels very different:
- 2 straps: more racy. you ride the board much flatter so you can go better upwind and faster. However is less manouvrable.
- 1 strap: is more similar to 2011s, more manouvrable, and I guess bit less of top speed and upwind performance. The board desing is already a bit racier than 2011, so I like more this configuration.

It depends of what you are looking for. If like a race board, go with 2 straps. If you like carving, more stability and fun go for 1 strap. I chose 1 single strap. Good for the designer to give us the option.

I measured with gps around 40km/h in the moment I make a "V" with my right hand fingers (near the end), but in the very beginning I was also trying to be fast. Yes water was pretty choppy, pretty much as you say, water very disorganized with waves (not breaking) and choppy.

My feeling is that the 60 rides steadier than the 54. It may be because of the fin, or the board weight.

After minute 1:30 he goes fast and smoth.

OT: Was bumping my Sector on every doorway I walked through. Had a nice bag made from a company called "Airwave". Reasonably priced, quick turnaround, and perfect fit. The guy from Airwave said he has made quite a few bags for kite race boards.
