Hi guys,
Need some advice. Would you recommend bringing a race board to cape verde?
I'm leaving on Wednesday. It seems certain spots are really flat and it's not a high wind area, so it could be nice.
I have my waveboard with me , but for the lighter days I like to race.
So if anyone knows, please let me know

yeah you can go for some amazing cruises or its great for training but make sure you take a phone with you and have someone on hand to rescue you if need be as you could end up in middle of nowhere if a line breaks or something. its normally always windy for at least some riding at kite beach but for sure a race board is good, even better if 2 of you

Well, since i'm here now, i'll give an answer.
It's perfect for racing!!! Go upwind to ponta lembe, super flat water, go downwind behind the point also flat but more gusty wind.
My advice for anyone coming here: bring everything wave,twin tip,race only thing you don't need is a really big kite(17) 13 is enough.
I had wind every day! Waves at kite beach , flat water you name it.
