Charts are just guidelines. It really depends on a riders weight, ability, board, temp density, wind consistency, etc. With that said, the Rebels have one of the widest wind ranges available so the chart should give you a good idea. For the 16-24 knot range, I don't think you can go wrong with either a 9 or 10m. I'm about 87kg's and I use the 10m if that helps.

Ditto re rider weight etc, so many factors. I'm 95kg and use my 2012 Rebel 10 from 22 to 32 knots (roughly, been out in bigger gusts) They handle the top end superbly and the depower is awesome, easy to use and the kite does not flutter when depowered due to tight canopy and loaded 5th line keeping it all in shape.
10m is the money kite IMO, if I had to own just one it would be the 10m

sounds about right, i'm 72kg and can ride the 10m from 14 kts on a surf board to 28kts on a tt getting some pretty good lift. and it is surprisingly well behaved at both ends.

My 2012 8m Rebel is spot on on the North charts. However for higher winds you need to remember to extend the back lines by sliding up to furthest knot under the bar floats (the knots are there for a reason... to be used!)

I'm 66kgs on a 9m Rebel 2012, and get about 13-28kn. Never tried higher winds, but gusts might have been higher than that. Kite is always stable.

Thanks for the responses. I'll demo a 9M and 10M as soon as it's windy again.

I ride evos but i have to say the windchart is pretty real. with my 12 i start at 12knots, the high end is supossed to be around 24 knots, but i feel pretty uncomfortable around 21-22 ( you can stay in the water..doing great exercise lol)
