First off I hope this is an appropriate place to post this, if not let me know! It’s really just a feeler to see if you guys like the sound of it.
So I captain this beast (
www.captgabby.com ), we mainly cater to kayakers but I'm wondering if kiters would be interested. The Georgia coast has some awesome virgin locations with tons of flat water opportunities as well as fun wave potential at the inlets (no not big waves, but fun 3-5 footers during a blow). The winds are pretty consistent and predictable with mild winter temps. I dunno, seems like it could work. Would any of you guys be into something like this? What would you expect to pay? Not sure what we could do but I'm sure we could come up with some sort of "kiter's special" especially since we wouldn't have to provide kayaks and a guide. I'm just getting back into kiting and really realizing the potential of this beautiful and remote area, I'm dying to share it! I've never ever seen a kite between St Simons island and Tybee island (a 60 mile swath of coast). Oh and we always bring a 13' whaler for a tender so a rescue/landing craft would be on hand. What else would we need? I'm open for suggestions. Google up the satellite images for Sapelo Island GA to see some of the sweet spots.
Thanks!
