i just realize a new surface under my North Select board.. Is that new tech that make a micro-bubbles layer throw board plans? so, it has more speed.. i remember many years ago when i was windsurfer , some board's shapers paint the surface under with a graphite colour and it has the same weave.is there anyone who knows about select's surface?

2012 Wainman Magnum (wave board) are sanded on the under surface.
Maybe that´s the "new" improvement.
