These are the Version 2 of the REEF surf boards from EpicKites. These boards comes in 5'7" ATV and 6'0".

The 5'7" ATV has a fuller "fish" style outline that holds more volume through the nose. The wide, floaty, swallow tail allows the board to drive across flatter wave sections with ease. The ATV is relatively short so it requires little input for a lively, skatey feel making it a really fun board for a variety of wave and wind conditions. The shape also caters to a front foot style of riding due to the width and drive of the board. With our five box system, you can choose between a quad or thruster fin arrangement allowing you to tune the board to your riding style. Want to get really loose and skatey in the small stuff? Ride it was a twin fin or a twin fin with small trailer and tail slide the heck out of it! The five fin cluster is accentuated by a six channel bottom contour, which accelerates water through the back of the board, increasing speed in gutless surf. The wide outline, relatively thick foil and flatter entry rocker make this THE board to have for everyday riding, or in less than ideal conditions. The ATV rides equally well with or without straps, in winds ranging from 8 - 28 knots. We're thrilled with this board - we know you'll be amazed!
Great care and quality materials are used in the construction of Epic kite surf boards.
You think the 5'7" was a great board....Wait until you try the new V2 REEF 5'7".
The REEF 5'7" ATV V2 comes complete with: 5 FINS / 2 STRAPS / 2 PADS / LEASH / BAG. All this for the price of $799.

The 6'0" REEF was designed for larger surf and/or stronger winds. Features include a traditional performance surf board outline with a thinner nose, pulled in squash nose and moderate rocker. Compared to the ATV, the longer rail line allows for a stronger hold when riding fast in bigger surf. Designed to be ridden off the back foot, above the fin cluster for drawn out bottom turns and big hacks off the top. Riders looking for powerful, down the line action will appreciate the rail hug and snappy response in the pocket especially because of its new "swallow" tail. With thinner pinched rails, pulled in tail and thruster set-up, the REEF holds tight during steep face riding or barrel hunting. Charge as hard as you want, this board will give you the confidence to tackle the big stuff.
The REEF was designed to be ridden strapless, but larger or heavier riders can mount straps and benefit from the increased rail line and size of this board.
Great care and quality materials are used in the construction of Epic kite surf boards.
So if you liked the 5'11" REEF, we guaranty you that you are going to love the new V2 REEF 6'0".
The REEF 6'0" V2 comes complete with: 3 FINS / 2 STRAPS / 2 PADS / LEASH / BAG. All this for the price of $749.

These boards will be available to the public by the end of July 2012. :thumb:

I am so sorry Mr.Frankieboy, but as you know it is very hard to please every body. Since I posted this topic 2 hrs ago, we already have 7 pre-orders. I guess people must like them.
:D

P.S. As my shapper Mr. Jesse Fernandez said in the video above: "You better be really good to use these boards" since they are so flashy.

Loving my V1 5'11
Been trying lots of other surfboards lately but keep going back to my "old freind"

Took this video the past two days on my local beach..only small surf but was still fun.

ps. I wasn't on the Epic kites for most of these sessions as they were all out on demo..all 11 kites, I don't mind though as the orders are coming in now!

Hey Dimitri...I have to say I don't mind the look of your gear, I would really like to give it a go sometime. We get out to the Cape twice a year, see you driving up and down HWY12 but never had a chance to hook up yet. Maybe in the fall! You just have to stop dressing up like a granny that $HIT ain't cool :) Seriously no more of that!

Cheers DEEJAY

Hello Mr. Newbee187,
Next time let me know when you plan to come down to Cape Hatteras so you can demo some of the EPIC gear. We have been doing demos since the middle of April and will continue until the end of June.
On another note Grannie Dee got shot few weeks ago. :(

Its the 250th anniversary of the inventor of the sandwich this month!!

Hello did you miss me?

Could you please share more info about your new 5'7" & 6'0" directionals for all KF readers

More precisely the widths & thicknesses of each one

You are the best to know that the "width" is most important ( a TT 135 long can be 47 wide )

So just giving lengths to many people is only part of the equation

:thanx: very much........and best wishes of prosperity in the coming year :D
