I use extensions on my 11.5 Kahoona and it works wonders. I recently got an HQ Matrixx Foil Kite. I'm wondering if there's any difference with a foil and if I can use 3M extensions on the 25M Lines or if that may cause an issue.

No worries. There were those guys who were using 100m lines after all :o

i've seen many times how smaller kites getting upwind better than bigger "high performance" kites in lite winds. you'll be surprised!

Y'know, I would be  It's MHO that there may be merit in smaller faster kites for smaller lighter riders, but when you're heavy there's no replacement for displacement - catching all the wind you can with a big kite and long lines :thumb:
Either that or the smaller, lighter riders here with their "high performance" kites just aren't that good kiters ...

oh, forgive me master Kamikuza, i forgot to mention that i usually wright about my own experiences not some lite weight kid's one. and do try to find time to learn about why they make plane's wing profile curved, not flat?

Oh yeah...
I weigh 190 lbs
I fly a Switch Nitro 14m
I ride a Cabrihna Progidy TT 148cm
I think I've been choking the kite too much as people say! Thanks

switch?
well, how am i not surprised!
i suppose you don't have to inflate the nitro's struts at all, it doesn't make the difference anyway.
you'll be better off buying the kite that have made with the aerodynamics in mind.

No problems, thanks for pointing that out :thumb: I figured that was the case, so I thought I'd share my own experiences and observations too ... they just don't happen to agree with yours :allbegood:
I bet you're a far better rider than the other guys here though, and would have no problem with the smaller kites.
