tried them in 09 for three months for my kite biz, zombies and mayhems ... the name said it all! no low end at all. the bar was a joke! did not depower very much so i used the outside line o-shit ring for leash attachment, as recommended by my sales rep, even then the leader line knots would hang up on the ring and not depower - almost injured a student. kite would not relaunch in the medium to low end wind range unless you swam to the kite, old c kite style. several valves became unglued ... kites were only a couple months old. the instruction that came with the kite were for the answers - wtf! the twin tip boards were archaic, that said the wave board was very nice. the sales rep dropped out of the picture once i started complaining about the problems. the guys in the office were nice and did all they could to try and help me, to no avail. in the end i literally threw the kites in the garbage in disgust and lost a lot of money. if you're a medium to light weight advanced rider with typically windy conditions, yes these kites may work ... any kite will fly halfway decent with a lot of wind. don't know what their current kites are like and don't want to know! i really tried to make these kites work for me but couldn't ... trying to tune these kites for my conditions was harder than getting a nun to drop her draws! kiting since 2001 and a level 2 iko and pasa instructor.

Got to try them about once every year.
Didn't like at all the earlier models but in the past couple of years they really got better.

I think they are the most terrible company in terms of customer service. I tried various times to order online, and just got one response. And then nothing else. Nobody responds to emails. Waited 10 days and still nothing.

Really baffling. I understand that they like to hang out more at Waddell than taking orders. But then your read the interviews where they say they don't understand why they didn't become a more known and bigger kite brand.

Well. Ddddaaaa. They are just not the smartest cookies. It's ok to hang out at the beach, but I would at least take orders.

I definitely won't get anything from Caution. If you read up online, there is lots of similar complaints. I know 5 other folks that have similar experiences and all decided to never go to Caution again.
