Hi, can someone help me out, i need to know what kind of pigtails are on front and back lines of Ocean Rodeo kites(2012)?

I have an Ozone bar, which has knots on the back lines and loops on the front(reverse than most companies), so i would like to know if they are compatible!

Also can you tell me how ocean rodeo kites flag out, to one or both front lines?

Thanks

Hey TommyDelly,
OR bars have loops on the front lines and pigtails with knots on the back lines. All OR kite except the discontinued Diablo 5 line C kite flag out to both front lines. 2011 and later feature "roll over bridles" that leave the kite on it's back like as if on a 5th.
Depending on your riding style you have to make sure the bar you use on an OR kite provides enough bar stroke. The Ozone bars I think would be good.
Hope this helps, cheers,
Rudo

Bar setup for OR kites: all lines equal at full power, without the small pigtails at the back lines..
So make them yourself or order some with your OR kite.
Don't know how ozone's setup is but most manufacturers use the same line length setup (all equal at full power)

TommyDelly, I have a mix of OR and Ozone kites and you do not need to modify anything any bar works on any kite. I generally use it the other way though OR bar on Ozone kites.

Hey stefaans, that sounds great!
So you dont need extra pigtails on the back lines like janus said and OR kites flag niceley on one front line, without spinnig?

Can you tell me another thing, how are the OR kites at relaunching in low winds(8 knots or even lower), i found that Ozone kites are really good at relaunch, even in the lightest wind you can reverse launch it, how about OR kites, i am thinking of getting the Flite?!

Thanks again!
