We are the guys involved in this rescue and we are just super happy that the people involved are ok! We think as kiters we are always aware and have been in several situations where we have saved people which usually goes unnoticed. I think our sport needs more positive PR since we are responsible people as a whole.
This situation touches on a much bigger topic; we want our sport to be responsible and safe as well as looking out for other kiters and beach goers.
