Hi,

i am just in the process to choose my next kite....and it is difficult to test all the stuff that i would like.....

I don't like heavy bar pressure on bar.....I had a ride on the Vegas but it was the 2010, end didn't like the pressure.....But i have read that the 2012 is much lighter....is it right ?
How does it compare to Torch and Razor ?

Thanks

I have 2012 Razors and I'd describe it as very positive and direct - I do not like heavy bar pressure having previously suffered from tendonitis of the elbow. The Razor is perfect as you get instantaneous feedback but can ride for hours on end day after day :thumb:

The Torch feels a bit lighter but to me it was not as precise as the Razor and not flown a Vegas in a while and can't remember what it was like.

Where are you based?

One thing.....did you mean the pressure to steer the kite or to pull the bar toward the CL ?

I was thinking overall pressure... probably more to do with sheeting as the turn/response pressure is no problem at all and it can be controlled one handed - unlike something like the Fuel which has quite a dull/heavy steering response until you crank it IMO.

I can use the Razor for hours and get no forearm fatigue or pain the next day at all. It is a really sweet kite and my 2013 kites will be Razors which I think is the first itme I have not changed to a new model kite in years - they really do everyhting I want and I have flown a lot of kites!!!!

Mike27 did you really find bar pressure on 2010 Vegas high? For me it is really low for a freestyle kite, especially on the freeride setting.
