Cool thanks, thats what I was wondering. Any advice on where to stay etc up there? It's only a 3 hour drive and the wind forecast looks quite a bit better.

Hi all, I went to Gokova 24/06 for 7nts. Had wind every day. First few days were 12m weather, then last few days were 9m weather for a rider of average weight... 85kg... fantastic set up and location, beautiful, pine trees coming down to the waters edge, rivers with kiteable butter flat water, waist deep flat water, steady thermal wind, no gusts perfect for learning to kite or like me learn new tricks.... overall great location and very warm aswel.... I stayed in marmaris and really enjoyed the party life in the evenings and a short 25 min drive to the kite bay.

Only thing that was slightly disappointing was the charge to the kite beach for kiters and the fact the wind only really lasted 3 - 4 hrs per day. suited me though due to constant hangovers.

overall great location and i will be returning...
