Hey guys, going to be getting a new cell soon. What have you found to be the phone or operating system where you can get the best kiting apps? Im leaning towards the iphone but am considering an android as well.

I really hate apple, but iphones are probably the best smartphone on the market at the moment. I had an android for about a year and am really glad i made the switch. More apps, better apps, better camera, very smooth and fast operating system (android is kind of laggy).

I definitely don't want to kite with my Razr. Even with a waterproof case, I don't think it's worth it. If I'm out alone and I may need a phone for an emergency, I'll take my cheap prepaid.

the Xperia active (sony) is waterproof, have some sport applications built-in,, should be able to update it to android 4.0 (like all the xperia), not the state of art of a smartphone but geared toward sports, u can probably find some sport appl on the android market.

otherwise the galaxy S3 and a waterproof pocket, the best smartphone so far (might be too expensive?)

i just keep my samsung B2100, it survived 3 weeks, lost in the snow and -5°C, and found by elders, they phoned my GF back with it :D but unfortunatly, dropped it in the lake too, fell from moto riding and 2 cars passed over it , not a smartphone.
if i can get a smartphone version of that cell phone, i d go for it :thumb:
