if you want to avoid tangles of your lines when they are not under tension (e.g. before launch etc), you need to wrap them as an 8 (not in loops). Not sure how the looper deals with this...?

frankm1960 wrote: The looper looks a little small for 25m lines, especially if you have a 5 line bar. That's just looking at it from here. I say that because the looper bar looks short compared to a typical bar so that would mean more loops. I don't think you can fit that many loops around it. Big enough for 5 lines bar and small enough to be packed easily along with the bar its dimensions and shape make it compact, intuitive and easy to use accessory (not for boat launching) within affordable cost it combines both order keeping and fast/easy rolling, so for those who already handled the first issue with improvised plastic or wood stick, it will add the rolling easiness part… Enjoy

Well done for all the effort put in to desigining it and producing it, I am sure you will find your niche market, schools and people who launch multiple kites will definately find it useful! And, at one looper per bar you are on a winner if you can place your product! If we listened to all the negatives we would not get out of bed in the morning! Go for it. Accesorize, accesorize!! Fully Agree with the above. I can put my lines away under tention and always figure of eight. but for some reason or other the little bastards are always tangled. not badly but enough to wish they were'nt. Anything that gets me on the water quicker is a great idea. not arsed about packing away as that is when the fun stops and I'm chatting on the beach. Good luck chaps

No disrespect but next thing we'll see will be a guy flying your kite also just because is simpler If you don't want tangles on your lines, just land your kite and without detaching your lines from your kite start rolling your lines on your bar on a classic figure 8 pattern as you would normally do, when you reach your kite leave your bar down and take a small thin stick and attach your end of your lines one after another on it and then roll them all together on your bar and secure them with the elastic loop on the end. You will end up with your bar lines rolled up on your bar like always just now the end loops will be in line and in order. When you want to kite just attach your lines from the stick to your kite again one after another, unroll your lines and anjoy flying your kite. No tangles, no time wasted, no mess, no cost, simple as that.

Good luck chaps When you pack up, lark's head left steering line to left center line and same for RHS. When you walk them out, centers between your legs and they'll (very nearly) automatically untangle \m/

that s a pretty useless object ! I never unroll my line ! i connect them directly to the kite....With the proper rolling technic you don't need to do it !

Good luck chaps When you wrap your lines, keep them flat and parallel with each other between your thumb and forefinger rather than grabbing them as a bunch. As you wind them dont let them cross by keeping pressure on them. When you unwind dont let the ends dangle in the wind. When you rig, they will still cross in a few places but when you get to the end they will be easy to separate. the looper looks interesting. Right now im focused on how to get my kite inflated faster
