hi there
I think I am only about 110 kg (dry weight)
By far the best twintip lightwind board I have used is the Carved Predator. I like it much more than the spleen door I used before. Much more pop for jumping and much better in highwind....
greetings from Switzerland, soon NE Brazil...

I'm a little guy...178 lbs. Kinda surprised that some big guys thought the Mako King was good for low winds. All the stuff I read about it says..no. Plus I had one and found it not so good for low winds. So I tried the SS glide and the Crazyfly Cruiser. I found the Glide easier to pop and jump over the CrazyFly. The Glide is very slippery like the Makos...but round edged boards do not go up wind well. I tried the Spleen Door once...and it was big...works well. Too big for me. The Predator board that Andres mentioned looks Boss. For low wind directionals look at the Airush Chop top.
I have a Placido surf board strapless that is fun. And the Glide!!

( i have try 3 lightwind top boards and i felt like i was on a door-board, with a diferent negative feeling)
about carved?
yes are very expensive !!! why you dont check Btskiteboarding..??
i just order my second board for lightwind.. cause i wonder how much earlier can i plan with it.
.
my first board is 1.750 gr full carbon 136 X 40.5 FS and is amazing how early it plans. when i get out from water all kiters ask me how its possimple to still get going with my 9m kite when they cant go with 12m (same brand, same triming) when the wind get slow..
i give them to try my board.THAT IT COST HALF PRICE ,MAYBE LESS THAN CARVED
top tech custom boards

Do yourself a favor and just get a custom made board. There are some really talented board makers out there who can make you a normally sized board that will allow you to kite with the smaller guys out there. Nomad Kiteboards, out of Tarifa, built a good friend of mine who was 130kg a board that let him get out on the same size kites that we were (I'm 93 kg). None of us would have believed it if we hadn't seen it with our own eyes. Aggression Kiteboards out of Hatteras also makes a light wind board that isn't a barn door. You'll likely pay more for one of these custom boards than you would for one that's mass produced, however it will be tailored specifically to your size and style of riding and that seems more than worth it, to me at least.

I would recommend to go for Aboards Glider board: http://www.aboards.eu/public/index.php? ... rds:Glider
This board is great for light wind and big guys!
