Neretva is a nice spot, but getting very over crowded, i have seen more than 150 kites just on the main spot! The wind starts in the afternoon and really varies in strenght(6-25 knots) The 10€ fee is a joke, because like you said you really get 0 out of it, except the use of the beach, but there is no fresh water on the spot, no rescue boat( havent been there this year, maybe its changed), on kaikala beach you dont need a boat coz wind blows right on the beach, also no real toilets only dixies, actually the only thing you get is the bar and music(where you leave a lot of money for drinks anyway), well you have a compressor, but i never use it..so the 10€ is only good if it is going to get less crowdy coz of it :)

About the fisherman, i dont know what Zob is talking about, but they dont take 1/3 of the spot ;) they are not even on the spot xD they only fish inside the river neretva, so just dont ride inside the river and its all good :) BUT there are swimmers, swimming area takes about half the green area(what Moiton posted), they are mostly upwind of the bank...this main spot is acctually devided to 3 areas(you can see this map on the spot) 1. beginner area on the inside 2. advanced area and 3. swimming area, so again i have no clue what the 10€ is for xD! So if there is a big crowd, you can always go in the deep water and there you have endless space, but ofcourse everybody wants to be in the shallow water to learn new tricks :) also if something happenes you are going to get drifted on to the kaikala beach, but you can be in the water the whole day, coz no rescue like i said, best thing is to get a kanu or something and save yourself ;)

And yeah you have robinson camp on the spot wich is free, also you have a real camp by the kaikala beach, but appartements are 10-20€ so not a big difference.
