If using just a piece of rope as a "slider", why not just hook CL on rope and just get on and off by using QR???

Oh yeah, no interest in messing with those crazy looking bars. Dynema just looks like it would be so much better.

Check this kids DIY version.

Very cool. But what do you do with the hook?? I'm sure it must get in the way.

What size line would too.

Btw I just order up my first surboard, ready for the new experience.

Few words about surfboard chop and knees.

My knees where perfect when I was riding soft Trax tt, and humping my small girly jumps.

My knee problem started, when I started riding small fish surfboards with straps.

I had the chance to talk to legendary Mitu (f-one, Cape Verde)

He is one of the best strapless kitesurfer in the world, and he had a very bad knee injury.
His advice is to maintain low speed , when riding a surfboard on the chop.
A surfboard has high flotation, that's way when going fast, the ride is very jumpy,
which has bad impact on the knees.

Now I kite with a strapless surfboard, use the smallest kite I can, try to go slow on the chop,
and my knees are fine (if I don't neglect my Yoga and Physio).

Starpless is Great fun,
