From the audio it sounds like he did it more than once. They turned on their camera in hopes he would do it again. Coincidentally I just watched "The man who touched the sky" today. Check it out on YouTube if you haven't seen it.

Billy Parker is one of our locals here, and I have had the pleasure of watching and riding with him for almost 10 years. This pier jump is really no biggie for him, it was just caught on tape for once. I'm sure if someone challenged him to do a 1080 triple dangle pass over it, he'd say "sounds fun" and probably even land it blind for ya.
Aside from his insane riding, he's also one cool mofo that has everyone's back on the water, and will be the first to go chase down a loose kite far downwind and bring it back to ya, or help you nail whatever you're trying to learn, whether it be a S bend or learning how to body drag.
Rock on BP!
Here's a little funk with BP and Eric Rienstra hitting a handrail-

Don't forgot the man who started the whole pier jumping craze
And the documentary all about him - Lewis Crathern, The man who touched the sky:
Don't forget that lewis was the second person to jump a pier, Jake went a few minuets before him. Its easy to let history get written in the wrong way.
